Dhenkanal, Jan. 18 -- Raising serious questions on safety and security of girl students in the schools of Odisha, reports of two more schoolgirls being pregnant surfaced in a matter of hours today.
In Dhenkanal, a headmaster of an ashram school lodged a police complaint yesterday citing that one of his girl students is pregnant. Following the allegations, the district child protection officer and other officials visited the school and held a closed-door meeting with the girl's family members today.
