Srinagar, Jan. 18 -- The J&K High Court today directed the government to dispose off within two months the matter relating to payment of compensation to Jamiat-e-Ahlehadees for land acquired from it by the government for construction of a Court complex at Moominabad in city outskirts.

Justice Sanjeev Kumar disposed of the writ petition filed by Jamiat-e-Ahlehadees, directing that if any request with regard to payment of compensation is pending consideration before the Divisional Commissioner, "the same shall be considered on its merits and disposed of within two months from the date a copy of this order is made available in the office of the Commissioner."
