MASERU, Jan. 15 -- Blue Cross President Mr Neo Shoaepane says the Ministry of Health (MoH) seemingly has the "intentions of capturing the institution and making it its department."
He said Blue Cross will not allow this to happen because they are a non-governmental organization hence an independent institution.
Shoapane was speaking at a press conference that was held in Maseru by the Blue Cross board. The mandate was to clarify some points regarding their feud with the government of Lesotho through the ministry, and their rumored shutdown due to bankruptcy in the New Year.
