Kathmandu, Jan. 21 -- The National Assembly meeting has been put off for half-an-hour on Monday following obstruction from the main opposition Nepali Congress.

Soon after the meeting started, the lawmakers of Nepali Congress stood from their seats and obstructed the meeting.

Though National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Timilsena urged the Nepali Congress lawmakers to take their seats, they did not comply with the order.

Timilsena announced that the meeting has been put off for 30 minutes after the lawmakers of opposition party expressed their reluctance to take their seats.
