Tashkent, March 28 -- In February, Uzbekistan reduced its natural gas exports to China by more than half, according to China's General Administration of Customs. Last month, Uzbekistan's gas supply to China dropped by 2.08 times, from $38.77 million to $18.6 million. In the first quarter of 2023, Uzbekistan didn't export crude oil to China. However, Chinese statistics differ significantly from Uzbekistan's State Statistics Committee data.

According to the Committee, in January-February, Uzbekistan exported $26.7 million worth of natural gas, which is 3.6 times more than the same period last year.
