Tashkent, March 25 -- As of January 1, 2024, Uzbekistan had approximately 7.5 million apartments in multi-apartment buildings and single-family houses, marking a 2.4% increase from the previous year.

The secondary housing market in 2024 saw a 1.6% growth since the beginning of the year, with an 18% increase compared to the previous year. Notably, Khorezm, Tashkent, and Andijan regions experienced the most significant rise, averaging a 30% increase from January last year. In February, a decline in rental prices was observed in Tashkent, with the largest decrease recorded in Almazor, Shaikhontohur, and Yakkasaray districts, ranging from 13% to 18% annually.
