Tashkent, April 15 -- Today marks the beginning of the fifth round of joint military training exercises named "Dustlik" between Uzbekistan's Ministry of Defense and India's units, at the "Termez" military training ground.

This session involves 60 military personnel from both countries, with the addition of Air Force specialists, unlike previous exercises. The main objectives of these exercises are to enhance coordination and cooperation among military units in combating terrorism and other operations.

The exercises are part of the planned cooperation between the defense agencies of Uzbekistan and India and will run until April 28.
