Tashkent, April 27 -- The European Union has allocated 6 million euros to support the development of agriculture in Uzbekistan, as reported by the EU delegation in the country. This funding is a result of Uzbekistan's commendable progress in agricultural reforms and maintaining macroeconomic stability.

In line with the agreement between the European Union and the Uzbekistan government, a total of 20 million euros will be provided to assist in implementing the National Agricultural Development Strategy for 2020-2030. Further grants are anticipated for this year and the next.
