Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., April 23 -- The U.S. Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol issued the following wing news:
More than 60 cadets from the Virginia Wing's Winchester Composite Squadron visited Shenandoah University's Shenandoah Center for Immersive Learning for a full evening of engaging with immersive technology and inspiration toward potential future careers.
Center staff and students provided several experiences for the cadets, who:
* Engaged in an overview of mixed reality and academics in which they tested the sound isolation and recording booth and motion capture space.
* Experienced virtual reality and augmented reality in the main lab, trying out different stations.
