ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 1 -- United States Patent no. 11,969,656, issued on April 30, was assigned to SONY INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT LLC (San Mateo, Calif.).

"Dynamic music creation in gaming" was invented by Albhy Galuten (Santa Monica, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method and system for dynamic music creation is disclosed. An emotion is assigned to one or more musical motifs and a game vector is associated with the emotion. The one or more musical motifs are mapped to the game vector based on the emotion. A musical composition is generated based on the game vector and desired emotions."

The patent was filed on Nov. 7, 2019, under Application No. 16/677,303.
