U.S, Feb. 29 -- Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines (SIA) have announced a five-year extension of their joint venture partnership, solidifying their commitment to offering passengers greater connectivity and travel options.
The agreement, authorized by New Zealand's Associate Minister of Transport, Matt Doocey, will remain in effect until March 2029.
This extended partnership builds upon a decade of successful collaboration, during which the airlines have increased seat capacity between New Zealand and Singapore by nearly 50%.
This includes adding up to three daily services between Auckland and Singapore, and a daily service between Christchurch and Singapore.
