Hyderabad, Feb. 5 -- The Telangana Assembly's budget session is set to begin on February 8, as announced by I & PR Minister Pongulati Srinivas Reddy and IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu during a press briefing on Sunday night.
In the briefing, the ministers disclosed that the Cabinet has given its approval to the Governor's speech. They also highlighted two significant guarantees scheduled for implementation during the assembly session.
The ministers stated that the state would conduct a caste census. The Cabinet has simultaneously decided to restore TG in place of TS, aligning with the Gazette of the Union Government. Guidelines for this transition will be formulated soon.
