Mumbai, April 24 -- Extending gains for the fourth consecutive session on Wednesday, the BSE Sensex went up 114.49 pts to close high at 73,852.94 following gains in Commodities, Metal, Industrials and Health Care stocks.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 34.40 pts at 22,402.40.

The market remained positive the whole session, as it climbed 219 pts to open at 73957.57. It was reached days high at 74121.61, surging 383 pts, before closing at 73,852.94, rising 114.49 pts from its last close.

The NSE registered days high and low at 22,476.45 and 22,384 pts respectively.

The stocks that maintained rally intact were Commodities by 1.62 pc followed by Metal by 2.83 pc, Industrials by 1.13 pc and Health Care by 1.03 pc amid strong Asian...
