Hyderabad, March 19 -- City Police Commissioner Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy convened a video conference on Tuesday with officers from all wings of the City Police, ranging from Constables to Addl.CPs, to discuss preparedness for the 2024 Lok Sabha poll.
During the conference, the Commissioner emphasized the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct and warned against any violations, stressing that legal provisions would be invoked for offenders.
He urged officers to enhance enforcement efforts, particularly in seizing cash, liquor, drugs, and other illicit items, executing pending Non-Bailable Warrants (NBWs), and enforcing the ban on carrying licensed arms until the elections conclude.
