Srinagar, March 2 -- The schedule for the Lok Sabha polls is likely to be announced in the next 15 to 20 days, Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Electoral Officer P K Pole said on Saturday.
Pole said this after reviewing the poll preparations for the Anantnag Lok Sabha seat.
"Within 15 to 20 days, the Election Commission will notify the schedule for the Lok Sabha polls," the CEO said while talking to reporters in south Kashmir's Anantnag district.
He said the security environment has improved in Jammu and Kashmir over the last few years.
