Bengaluru, April 24 -- Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) leader, HD Deve Gowda, has slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's economic proposals, likening them to the ideas of a Maoist leader.

Deve Gowda suggested that Rahul Gandhi's economic plans are revolutionary and unrealistic in nature.

"By proposing wealth redistribution, Rahul Gandhi's ideas seem to echo the radical approaches of a Maoist leader," Gowda commented, indicating his skepticism towards Gandhi scion's economic strategies, here on Wednesday.
