Beijing, April 26 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday said China and the United States should be partners rather than rivals and help each other succeed rather than hurt each other and engage in vicious competition.

Xi Jinping said this during the meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
