Shivya Nath: Travelling solo - by being nerve-wracking and empowering simultaneously - has allowed me to push the limits of my comfort zone, which is where the magic happens. Navigating the world alone, from Guatemala to Uzbekistan, has taught me to savour the joy of my own company and take responsibility for my own decisions - a reality we're often sheltered from as Indian women. Living with local and Indigenous communities around the world, and travelling by myself has also taught me about the beauty of our shared humanity, the environmental injustice playing out in the face of climate change, and the self-sustainable ways of life still practise...
