India, Feb. 9 -- Karen Anand is a celebrated food guru, culinary consultant, entrepreneur and author. She has written extensively on food and wine and has 20 books under her belt. Besides establishing a gourmet food products business, she has set up a Gourmet Academy and co-founded Markets by Karen Anand, a whole foods food and drink fair which takes place in several Indian cities. Anand has contributed to restaurant projects in India and the UK, namely the hugely successful Bombay cafe in London, Dishoom. With her latest enterprise, Quest, she curates luxury, bespoke Culinary Tours across destinations like Japan, Italy and Uzbekistan, helping discerning travellers push culinary boundaries and discover how natives live and do.
