India, May 2 -- On May 1, 2024, India's premier international airline, Air India, inaugurated flights on the busy Delhi-Dubai route with its newly-minted Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The wide-body, twin-engine airliner, flaunting the airline's bold new livery, made a spectacular landing in Dubai, making Air India the only carrier to operate an A350 on this route.

The celebratory occasion was marked by pre-departure ceremonies in India.
