Jammu, May 6 -- Education is a fundamental right of every child and serves as the cornerstone for individual development and societal progress. It is imperative that all children have access to formal education, and efforts should be made to ensure that this right is protected and upheld for every child, regardless of their circumstances.

In this context, reportedly, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has also shared similar views and has directed all states to ensure that children in the age group of six to 14 years are enrolled in neighbourhood schools and receive formal education.
