Dhaka, April 29 -- Health and Family Welfare Minister Professor Dr Samanta Lal Sen on Sunday said negligence of doctors while providing treatment to the patients will not be tolerated.
"I am urging the physicians to show highest professionalism while performing their duties . . . any kind of negligence will not be tolerated," he told an orientation programme of the newly appointed doctors at Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Convention Hall of the Bangandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, reports BSS.
Director General (DG) of the Directorate General of the Health Services (DGHS) Md Khurshid Alam and DG of Directorate of Family Welfare Sahan Ara Banu, among others, were present at the function.
