Dhaka, May 3 -- The Election Commission (EC) has taken a firm stance against the illegal influence of ministers and Members of Parliament (MPs) in the upcoming Upazila Parishad elections, urging them to refrain from exerting any undue pressure.

In a letter addressed to the Parliament Secretariat, the EC emphasized the importance of maintaining a fair and impartial electoral process, free from interference by ministers and MPs.
