Dhaka, May 3 -- In a tragic incident on Thursday morning, at least five people, including a woman, lost their lives in a collision between a private car and a truck in the Haritala area along the Dhaka-Sylhet highway, under Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj district.
The deceased have been identified as Jamal Mia, aged 40, son of Moz Ali, hailing from Boalia village in Galachipa upazila of Patuakhali district; his wife Kamrun Nahar, aged 35; their son Md Anant, aged 11; Jamal Mia's younger brother Enamul, aged 35; and the private car driver Harun Bepari, son of Yunus Bepari, from
Barpasha village under Bakerganj upazila of Barishal district.
