Nigeria, May 1 -- In commemoration of this year's Workers' Day celebration, the Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on Wednesday promised that another minimum wage is in the works for workers in the state.

AbdRahman, while disclosing this in his fraternal message to workers on the 2024 May Day celebration in Ilorin, enumerated the efforts of the state government to cushion the effects of the current economic travails triggered by the removal of the fuel subsidy.

He said, "We will continue to review our responses within current realities, including implementing another minimum wage, as soon as all processes have been concluded."
