Dhaka, May 8 -- Two Bangladeshis were shot dead by India's Border Security Force (BSF) near the Tetulia border in Panchagarh district on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Aziz, (24) son of Zunu Mia, resident of Magura village of the upazila, and Yasin Ali, (23), son of Ketab Ali, resident of Tirnaihat village.

Locals and BGB sources said some young people went to the area in the morning, when they approached the border, BSF members opened fire on them, according to local news portals.

Later the bodies were taken inside India by BSF.

Preparations are underway to hold a flag meeting in this regard, a BGB official said.
