Dhaka, May 8 -- The owner of 'Kacchi Bhai' restaurant, where a devastating fire over two months ago claimed several dozens of lives, has been arrested on his arrival at Dhaka from Malaysia, police said.

They said the immigration police caught Sohel Siraj just after he reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday night.

The immigration police have shown Siraj, who had fled the country immediately after the fire incident at his restaurant on the Bailey Road, arrested in the case in connection with the blaze and hand him over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

With the latest arrest, seven people have been caught over the incident that took place on February 29.
