Dhaka, April 30 -- The High Court has stayed the proceedings of the case filed against Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus and five others at the Rangpur Labor Court, alleging violation of labour laws. Besides, the court has also issued a ruling regarding the validity of this case.

The High Court bench of Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam and Justice Md Atabullah Atabullah gave the order on Tuesday.

Barrister Abdullah Al Mamun appeared in the court for Dr Yunus. Barrister Khawaja Tanveer Ahmed was with him. Deputy Attorney General Tushar Kanti Roy and Assistant Attorney General Anich ul Mawa presented the state.
