Rail Roko call given by farmers crippled rail service
New Delhi, Feb. 15 -- Amritsar Farmers shout slogans against the central governments while blocking railway tracks during a demonstration over for a guaranteed minimum support price for all farm produce at Vallah village on the outskirts of Amritsar on Thursday. Chandigarh : Security arrangements have been tightened in the wake of rail roko call given by Bhartiya Kisan Union (Ugrahan).
Police said they were keeping an hawk eye on the activities of farmer leaders so as to avoid any confrontation on Thursday....
