The customary Sinhala and Tamil New Year tea table at the Security Forces Headquarters - West was held at Army gymnasium premises on 16 April 2024. Major General S.W.M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Commander of Security Forces - West (SF - West), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The inauguration of the symbolic New Year treat commenced after the day's Chief Guest lighting the traditional oil lamp along with Senior Officers.
