Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) Regimental Centre at Abepussa hosted a farewell parade to bid farewell for its proud retiring Senior Officers, Brigadier L. G. J. N. Ariyathilaka RWP RSP and Brigadier Y. G. P. N. Jayarathne RSP on 25 March 2024.
The ceremony commenced with the customary Guard Turnout at the entrance of the Regimental Centre and a formal farewell Guard of Honour parade that followed at the parade ground. Subsequently the retiring Senior Officers paid floral tribute to the Sinha War Heroes' monument in order to remember the sacrifices of SLSR War Heroes.
