The Security Forces Headquarters - East (SFHQ - East) celebrated Sinhala Tamil New Year on 09 April 2024 at the SFHQ - East premises under the guidance of Major General M.K.U.P Gunarathne RSP ndu psc IG, Commander, SF - East.
The festival consisted with a number traditional games such as cross country run, climbing greasy pole, pillow fighting, tug of war, fancy dress competition, etc. Additionally, a rural house (Gami Gedara) was designed at the premises.
