The Security Forces Headquarters - Central (SFHQ - Central) celebrated Sinhala Tamil New Year on 12 April 2024 at the SFHQ - Central premises under the guidance of Major General S.R.B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, SF - Central.
The festival marked the beginning by lighting the traditional oil lamp and consisted of a number of traditional games such as cross country run, climbing greasy pole, pillow fighting, tug of war, fancy dress competition, etc.
The winners were awarded with gifts and a gathering of Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and their families participated in the festival.
