The Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J) organised a traditional New Year Festival to mark the Sinhala and Tamil New Year 2024 at the Doraiappa Stadium, Jaffna on 10 April 2024 with the presence of large number of Army troops in Jaffna Peninsula and community in Jaffna.
Upon the invitation of Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, SF-Jaffna, dignitaries such as, multi-religious clergy, Consulate General of India in Jaffna, Additional Secretary of Presidential Secretariat in Jaffna and Government Officials also took part in the festival.
