The foundation stone for a new lecture hall and accommodation area at the Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps (SLAWC) Regimental Centre was laid on 13 February 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Borella. Major General M.K.U.P Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, the Commander, Security Forces- East and the Colonel Commandant of the SLAWC graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
