Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B. Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J), paid homage to the Nagadeepa Purana Raja Maha Viharaya and Sri Nagapooshani Amman Kovil on Nainativu Islands on 01 March 2024.
At the Nagadeepa Purana Raja Maha Viharaya, he received blessings, attended the monthly almsgiving event and met with the chief incumbent thero to discuss development initiatives around the temple grounds. Later, he visited the Sri Nagapooshani Amman Kovil, where he received blessings from the Kurukkal (priest of Hindu devotees) and engaged in discussions with trustee authorities.
