CHITWAN, March 3 -- The post-mortem report of Shalin Pokhrel, who was found dead in a hostel in Chitwan, has indicated that she was not raped before her death as claimed by her family members.

Doctors at the Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu conducted the postmortem of Pokhrel's body after her family members demanded a post-mortem in Kathmandu. Police sources confirmed that the report indicated that there were no signs of rape.

Earlier on Saturday morning, 14-year-old Pokhrel, who was living in the hostel of Ekta Shishu Niketan Boarding School in Ratnanagar Municipality-15, was found dead in her room.
