KATHMANDU, April 23 -- The public transportation system will continue to operate during the arrival of Emir (King) Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar who is visiting Nepal today.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, public transport vehicles will be managed in a safe manner so that the public will not be affected negatively when the Qatari King arrives.

"We have mobilized traffic police on every route in the valley. Today is a public holiday. Since there are not as many passengers traveling today as on other days, we have managed safely to prevent traffic congestion," SP Awadhesh Bista told Republica.
