KATHMANDU, March 27 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday slid 10.83 points down to close at 2,030.86 points.

The market opened at 2,041.70 points and escalated to the day's high at 2,053.48 points in the first half an hour. In the next moment, the index went to a straight fall and hit the day's low at 2,025.27 points in the last half an hour of the trading time. The market recovered around five points in the remaining period before the market closed for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of 'A' class companies fell 2.17 points. The daily turnover further declined to Rs 2.23 billion from Rs 2.35 billion on Tuesday.
