KATHMANDU, April 21 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday added 12.29 points to close at 1,984.43 points.

The secondary market opened at 1,972.14 points and fell successively to reach 1,953.38 points in the first two and a half hours of trading. The index, however, went to an upward graph in the remaining trading hours and achieved around 31 points before the market closed for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of 'A' class companies also inclined 0.28 points. The daily turnover increased to Rs 2.25 billion from Rs 2.09 billion on Thursday.
