KATHMANDU, April 25 -- A meeting of the National Development Council is underway today to discuss the short-term, long-term and periodic development plans formulated by the National Planning Commission (NPC). The primary agenda of the meeting is to finalize the government's 16th plan.

The meeting chaired by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal convened at 8AM and is scheduled to continue until 7PM at Hotel Yak and Yeti. PM Dahal, who serves as chairman of the NPC, is delivering the opening address, alongside former prime ministers and top leaders of political parties.
