KATHMANDU, April 24 -- A meeting of the National Development Council is being held on Thursday to discuss the short-term, long-term and periodic development plans formulated by the National Planning Commission (NPC). The primary agenda of the meeting will be to finalize the government's 16th plan.

The meeting chaired by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will be held on Thursday from 8AM to 7PM at Hotel Yak and Yeti. PM Dahal, who is also the chairman of the NPC, will address the meeting, along with former prime ministers and top leaders of the political parties.
