KATHMANDU, Feb. 6 -- The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has called for international tenders bids for leasing two narrow-body aircraft.

The flag carrier of Nepal invited the tenders to enhance its international flight services.

According to the NAC's action plan, the two wide-body aircraft currently with the NAC have been used for flights to Japan, Sydney and South Korea.

The NAC plans to lease new aircraft as the existing aircraft cannot handle the flight pressure for other destinations.

Issuing a statement, the NAC said that leasing new aircraft will help maintain the flight pressure for destinations like New Delhi, Dubai, Doha, Malaysia and other destinations.
