KMC asks cinema halls, clubs and other entertainment businesses to pay entertainment tax
KATHMANDU, May 1 -- Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has issued a notice, asking entertainment businesses such as nightclubs, dance bars, and live music venues, including the LOD club, to pay entertainment tax.
The revenue department of the metropolis issued a 35-day notice on Wednesday to Garage Entertainment, NM Productions, Gopi Krishna Movies, and others to pay entertainment tax. The notice mentions that Garage Entertainment held a musical concert on November 25, 2023, at Hyatt Hotel.
