KATHMANDU, March 28 -- The price of gold, which has remained consistently high, has once again surged to nearly Rs 128,000 per tola.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the trading price for fine gold on Thursday stands at Rs 127,900 per tola.

Although there was a general decline last Tuesday, on Wednesday it increased by Rs 400 to become Rs 126,800 per tola. On Thursday, there is an increase of Rs 1,100 per tola.

With an increase of Rs 200 per tola compared to last Sunday, gold price reached Rs 126,700 per tola on Monday. On Tuesday, the transaction price was reduced by Rs 300 per tola.

Compared to the beginning of the current month, gold price per tola has increased by Rs 2,100 in 15 days. O...
