KATHMANDU, April 19 -- Three people have lost their lives on the spot and other 52 were injured when a bus carrying attendees of a wedding procession met with an accident in Sindhupalchok's Dharawati, Tripura Sundari rural municipality ward-5.

Bus Ba 4 Kha 5616, which was en route from Dolakha to Piskar in Sindhupalchowk, met with an accident at 7:20 this morning.

District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk spokesperson Niranjan Bhattarai said that three people died in the accident and their identity is yet to be ascertained.

According to him, the injured are being transported to Bahrabise for treatment.
