Kolkata, April 27 -- War of words ensued between the top BJP and TMC leadership after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday attacked the Mamata Banerjee Government for selling Government jobs, indulging in appeasement politics so as to subvert the national interests.

Addressing a massive election rally at Malda in North Bengal the Prime Minister referred to the recent Calcutta High Court order chucking out 25,753 illegally appointed school teachers and non-teaching staff the Prime Minister said "here the TMC Government does the corruption and the people have to pay its price . see how 26,000 people lost their jobs because . they took loans to pay the TMC leaders for their jobs and now they are jobless".
