RAIPUR, March 14 -- Raipur NSUI President Shantanu Jha submitted a memorandum to Counselling Committee Medical Education Chairman Dr. Arvind Neral on Wednesday, urging him to reimburse security deposits to students.
Security deposits of over 5,000 students amounting to over Rs 21 crore have not been refunded even after six months.
Jha said the deposit amount is too large for lower and middle-class families. The committee needs to keep this in mind and take prompt action.
