New delhi, March 23 -- In a major setback to AAP convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, once revered as an anti-corruption crusader, was sent to the Enforcement Directorate's custody till March 28.

The court passed the order on the ED application seeking a 10-day custody in the case.

Arguing for his custody, the ED counsel Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, on Friday told the Special Judge Kaveri Baweja at the Rouse Avenue court that Kejriwal is a "key conspirator" and "kingpin" in the liquorgate scam case on Friday. "Kejriwal was the kingpin and key conspirator of the Delhi excise scam in collusion with Ministers of the Delhi Government, AAP leaders and other persons," the ED informed the court.
