KEONJHAR, Feb. 9 -- : Keonjhar Fast Track Court Judge Vijay Kumar Mishra on Wednesday, while hearing a 14-year-old minor rape case, sentenced one Vijay Kumar Barik (21) of Nuabeda village under Daitari police station to 20 years rigorous imprisonment (RI) with a fine of Rs 10,000.
According to the sources, the incident took place in the year 2021. On June 15, 2021 at about 4:30 pm, the victim went to the house of her friend with another friend on a cycle. When she did not return home for a long time, family members started searching for her.
